The Making of a Poker Player by Matt Matros

This book is hard to rank.  I gave it three stars on Amazon and then changed it to four stars after I finished the whole book.

I liked how he told hand stories and showed how he developed as a poker player over time.  A lot of the book felt like having a friend talk to you about poker.

I hated how he started from the raw basics every chapter and pretended like he was writing for someone who knew nothing about poker whatsoever.  Who did he think was going to buy this book?  I would recomend a once through if you've read most of the other poker books out there but don't expect to come out the other end as a more developed player.
